Are you looking for some summer crochet? Try one of these free crochet necklace patterns! They include beads, wire, plarn (yarn made out of plastic bags), embroidery thread, and, of course, lots of yarn!

Here are the names and links of each pattern, along with a little something that each designer has to say about them.

1) Puff Stitch Choker ~ By Jessie At Home
Practice your puff stitches and make this attractive choker all at the same time. This choker is great for an evening out, or just used to dress up a tee shirt and jeans. Try adding some beads for a more glamorous look! Make this choker with or without a border, or make it shorter for a bracelet. There is also a video for the visual learners!

2) Crochet Ring Necklace ~ Free Crochet Pattern by Cre8tion Crochet
I came across something similar to this on Pinterest a couple years ago. I decided to create my own take on these crochet ring necklaces. All the one’s I have seen have either been hooked together with jump chains or have been stitched together with the same embroidery thread used to make them. I really like the look of the beads in between each of the rings. It brings a little more style and really makes these necklaces much cleaner and neater looking.

4) Wire Ball Crochet Necklace ~ Free Crochet Pattern by Petals to Picots
This pretty wire ball crochet necklace is another one of those creations that was born out of an experiment gone wrong. I was trying out some new stitches with my wire and it didn’t work out so well; so I gave up and poured myself a cup of tea. As I sat there I fidgeted with the piece and ended up rolling it into a ball. And voilà … Another idea was born! I sat back down and made up a few more, this time using just regular crochet stitches. Then I strung them all on a strand of Sparkling Taupe yarn from Lion Brand’s Party Bonbon Collection.

5) Green Plarn Necklace ~ Free Crochet Pattern by Look At What I Made
This little baby started its life in the hospital while I was waiting for Jaco to be discharged. It is made from Budgens plastic bags. This is my first foray into the world of necklaces, so keep that in mind if you see a bit of shoddy crochetery. I don’t know if I will use these bags again as the plarn tends to stick to the hook while you work – beware of hard shiny plastic bags!!

6) Puff Stitch Necklace in 3 Lengths ~ by Jessie At Home
This simple and elegant necklace works up quickly using chain sts, puff sts, and a few slip sts. It is reminiscent of a layered chain and bead necklace, but much lighter to wear. With 3 different lengths to choose from, you can pick the one that looks best on you! This pattern is written out with photos to help along the way, and a video to aid the more visual learners.

7) Crochet Flower Choker ~ Free Crochet Pattern by Petals to Picots
I felt like I needed a little something to liven up my outfit for wedding I was going to. I wanted something simple, yet elegant, and envisioned this pretty choker. These are the same motifs I used in the Flower Bracelet that I made here. I love how it came out!

8) Glamour Infinity Necklace Scarf ~ Free Crochet Pattern by Glamour 4 You

9) Beaded Crochet Necklace ~ Free Crochet Pattern by Posh Pooch Designs
I was at a party last night and one of the ladies was wearing a beautiful beaded crochet necklace. I loved it so much, I wanted to make one for me. Here is the Crochet Pattern I came up with.

10) Summer Spiral Earrings and Necklace Set ~ Free Crochet Pattern by Simply Collectable
When I made these, I had swimsuits and swimming pools in mind. I like wearing my jewelry, but I don’t like taking it off to go in the pool. These are originally made from nylon and they keep their shape well.

Don’t forget to check out some of the other great Round Ups that have happened in Blogland over the last week!
