I am trying to get my next pattern released by the end of the month. It’s the Angela Shrug! I am making one (or maybe two) for myself, so I can take some new photos for the pattern. I wasn’t happy with the photos I had in the pattern I gave to my testers.
I made two swatches to show how the lace works up in different yarns. This first one is in Lion Brand LB 1878. It seems that at the moment I am writing this, Amazon is low on colors (like only one), but they usually have several colors. I got the one above from them several months ago.
This one is Ty~Dy Superkid. This is the yarn I am using for my shrug. It’s all fuzzy and fun!
I have the back section all done now. I really love the colors! This is my first knit pattern with lace work. I see more in my future!
Two of my awesome on~line crochet friends have teamed up for a short CAL. It started today and is only 4 days long. Hop on over and join in the fun! Then take some snaps and share them in one of the groups listed in the CAL. You can also chat about your mystery adventures over in my virtual knit and crochet group.
I’ve also been putting together my printed patterns and kits for the Natalie Shawl and Wrap to sell at InsaniTea and Street Fairs.
The Natalie Shawl and Wrap pattern has been getting great attention! Don’t forget to share some photos if you make one of your own.
