I’ve been loving working with double crochet v-stitches and single crochet to create a few patterns lately, and I thought I would do a rectangular one that shows off the stitch pattern. Of course, that meant I needed a fabulous yarn and I found one from Plymouth this summer: Nako Arya Ebruli! I hope you enjoy this mini-wrap as much as I do.
Size:
10″ x 54″
Yarn:
Plymouth Nako Arya Ebruli color 86414 (100g / 600yds)
Hook:
US-E/4, 3.5mm
Gauge:
21 sts (7 dc v’s) x 13 rows = 4″ (10 cm) in dc v-stitch
Other supplies:
yarn needle
Stitches and Abbreviations:
ch – chain
dc – double crochet
sc – single crochet
sp(s) – space(s)
st(s) – stitch(es)
Pattern:
Row 1: Ch 303, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining ch. {302 sc}
Rows 2- 3: Turn, ch 1 (does not count as a st here or throughout), sc in each st across.
Row 4: Turn, ch 3 (counts as first dc here and throughout), skip 1, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next st, [skip 2, (dc, ch 1, dc) in next st] across until 2 sts remain, skip 1, dc in last st. {100 dc v’s}
Rows 5-8: Turn, ch 3, (dc, ch 1, dc) in each ch-1 sp across, dc in last st.
Row 9: Turn, ch 1, sc in each st and ch-1 sp across. (302 sc}
Rows 10- 11: Turn, ch 1, sc in each st across.
Repeat rows 4-11 three more times.
