Road Trip ~ Crochet Pattern Round Up from Jessie At HomePin

With Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, New Years, and whatever other holidays just around the corner, many of us will be spending a decent amount of time in a car. I know when we take road trips to visit family for the holidays, I like to have a project to work on in the car, in the hotel, or even just while sitting around with friends and family. I find that I need my road trip projects to be simple enough that I can make them even if I am slightly distracted. I’ve searched around and found some patterns that I think will work nicely for road trips, I hope you enjoy them.

Here are the names and links of each pattern, along with a little something that each designer has to say about them.

1) Ombre Ridges Scarf ~ by Beatrice Ryan Design
The simple and elegant style of this cozy crochet scarf will wrap you in warmth all winter long!!

2) Simple Chain Stitch Necklace ~ by Jessie At Home
If you can make a crochet chain, you can make this necklace! It is super simple, and tons of fun.

3) Sideways Cluster Boot Cuff ~ by Elk Studio Handcrafted Design
I really like the way this cuff turn out.  Now I’m ready to see what it looks like in some different colors.

4) Crochet Bracelet ~ by Andee Graves/M2H
As is known by many of my stitchy friends and my dear readers of the blog, I have a slight addiction to novelty yarns and crocheting with unusual materials (spaghetti anyone?).  So the first time I heard of Jelly Yarn I had to investigate.

5) Chevron Cuff ~ by Moogly
Instructions are included for two versions – a loose bangle style bracelet, and a tighter cuff with fasteners.

6) Slip Stitch Bracelet ~ by Jessie At Home
This bracelet is a great way to use up those little balls of yarn you have tucked away! They also make great last minute gifts.

7) Phoenix Sunset Cowl ~ by Underground Crafter
Several years ago, I went to a conference in Phoenix. I stepped out of the hotel just in time to see a beautiful sunset. That sunset was the inspiration for this scarf/cowl.

8) Bulky Striped Cowl ~ by Cre8tion Crochet
I love big bulky cowls, and I’m really into stripes right now. I wanted to create a functional yet stylish winter and fall accessory, the result was this Bulky Striped Cowl. This design has high impact for fashion yet is easy to create.

9) Monroe Scarf ~ by Kim Guzman
