School is almost out and the sun is here!! Time to protect your head and eyes with a fun hat. Summer hats are a perfect example of one of my favorite mixes: form and function! So here is a nice collection of summer hat crochet patterns in a variety of sizes and styles. Enjoy!

This sensational sun hat features a star on top to help keep the sun off the most vulnerable part of your little one’s head, and a mesh side to keep them cool. The wide brim provides shade to protect their face, and to keep them fashionable!

Here is a summer sun hat for you to make and enjoy! Keep safe and be fashionable, all at the same time.
5) Sea Breeze Summer Slouch ~ by Cre8tion Crochet
This lightweight yarn and gorgeous colorways screamed summer, so I set out to design crochet patterns that could be worn all summer long.

It is a loose fitting hat, and very comfy to wear on a warm day. I chose to make it out of cotton yarn, so it would be cooler.
9) Sunday Best Cloche/Sun Hat by ~ AG Handmades
A lovely little Summer-sunshine hat which you can make as a Sunhat, or a cloche; with a 3-layer flower to make it even prettier! In cool, crisp cotton to keep you comfortable in the hot weather.
