Size:
One size fits most
Neck opening: 30″
Length: 14″

Yarn:
Red Heart Heart & Sole: Ivory #3115; 3 balls
Red Heart Boutique Sashay Fringe: Flirty #1969; 1 ball

Hook:
US-G, 4.0mm

Gauge:
21 sts x 10 rows = 4” [10 cm] in dc

Other supplies:
yarn needle

Stitches and Abbreviations:
ch ~ chain
dc ~ double crochet
sp(s) ~ space(s)
st(s) ~ stitch(es)

Getting Started:
When adding the Sashay yarn, work through the top most FULL hole – not the half hole – this means there will be 2 threads caught in your work, not just one. The Sashay is added by inserting the hook through the top hole at the same time as the hook is inserted into the next st, this is only done with the dc, the Sashay is NOT connected to the chain stitches. Work one hole in the Sashay per stitch, do not skip holes.

Instead of weaving in ends of Sashay yarn, sometimes it’s easier to sew the ends with sewing thread and needle.

Start with more stitches, and then add as many increases as needed to fill in the new size.
