The Reds are coming! No not the Russians or the baseball team, but a pack of 7 free crochet patterns featuring… yes you guessed it, the color red.

I love red, it’s such a pretty color. It’s also a Christmas color, which is why I’m thinking about it this time of year. Of course, you can make a pattern in any color you want, but I’ve collected 7 free crochet patterns that have been designed in red. Enjoy!

Red free crochet pattern round up from Jessie At HomePin

Here are the names and links of each pattern.

“The Holiday Poncho is great for cold evenings out and about, or even at home. It will work wonderfully in the colors listed for Valentine’s day as well.”

2) Plain Ole Slouchy Hat by Underground Crafter
“The hat is very gift-worthy, so I am sharing the pattern in 9 sizes from newborn through adult. There should be an option for everyone on your list, but if not, I’ve included instructions for customization.”

3) Melodie’s Chunky Adult Scarf by EyeLoveKnots
“This scarf was named after a very good friend of mine, Melodie. She is planning a trip where she will be in the snow, and so I worked up this scarf to help keep her warm.”

4) Seed Stitch Bow by Stiches ‘n’ Scraps
“Use this Seed Stitch Bow to trim your tree, or when wrapping the presents underneath it. It’s also a great addition to headbands and hats.”
