We have been rather far behind this year. We just put up the tree a few days ago.
Hopefully this is the last fake tree year. I really prefer real trees, but it wasn’t in the cards this year.
The girls really enjoyed decorating the little tree. If we are still here next year, maybe we will find a place for the little fake tree for the girls, and then have a nice sized real one in the living room.
There has been a nasty cold making  the rounds through our family, and I was rather under the weather when the tree decorating was happening, so I just snapped some photos from the loveseat.
On Friday the girls made gingerbread houses at school. I went in to help. I spent a bit with Vada, and then finished off with Kyla. Thankfully, Celeste (mommy of Vada’s friend) volunteered to help out Vada when I had to go to Kyla’s class.
I’m not sure what was so funny, but Kyla was most definitively amused!
They REALLY wanted to eat those houses!!

I have started another little project. ‘Cuz I really need to start a new one…
This is actually something I need. I am quite excited about it. I hope to share the finished object with you soon! I think this will be a free tutorial for you when I have the pattern down!
For this little project, I am using up some end bits of yarn, still left over from Madison and Lexie’s Faerie coats.
