The double crochet cluster stitch can be used in many ways in order to add some extra detail and interest to your crochet creations. You can make ripples, grannies, v-stitches and even more with this nifty stitch. So, I’ve found some awesome double crochet cluster stitch patterns for you to try out and enjoy.

You can find a written, photo, and also a video tutorial of the double crochet cluster stitch made with 2 double crochets HERE. Some of these patterns use more then 2 double crochets in the clusters, however it’s easy to add more once you understand the stitch. Happy crocheting!

Here are the names and links to seven free patterns featuring the double crochet cluster stitch.

7) Wasilla Poncho by A Crocheted Simplicity
“I used to spend hours sitting next to (my mom) as she sewed new dresses for us both for church and special occasions. I didn’t have a baby sister until I was almost 10 years old so she used to make the matching dresses for herself and I. This is what lead me to design a crochet poncho for both women and girls.”
