Lots of patterns. Good thing I enjoy pattern drafting.
This year we will be a family of 10 on our Medieval vacation. It will be Doug, the girls and I, my parents, my brother and his wife and 2 boys. Doug and I are good for garb, but the girls have grown out of most of theirs. We have some stuff that will fit the other adult-types, but I will need to pad out the wardrobes a bit. The boys will need everything made. My brother and his family will only be there for four days, so I can get away with 3 outfits a piece, they can mix and match to make the fourth.
So I have started making patterns. One day ~ when the girls are in school and we have a house ~ I will have a medieval garb business. I am taking advantage of all this garb I need to make and making the patterns in off~the~rack sizes, so they can be used for my business.
When we are at Doug’s mom’s house for Easter, I will raid my fabric stash I have up in her attic. Luckily I will only have to spend about $200 on new fabric, because I have so much stashed already. I just need a lot of white for under dresses and veils for the ladies, and some wool for many capes. It gets rather cold in the evening.
Lots of math, drafting, cutting, and folding going on. I’m enjoying it.
I have to end with a cute collage. Yesterday, during her “nap” Vada decided she needed to wear her puzzle mat. Doug opened the door to “Hi! I stuck!”
Have a lovely week!

Good luck with all that garb. I am working on a few new things myself for war. Jessica needs some new stuff as she keeps getting taller, hrumph. Last year I made almost all new stuff for the girls so they are good for this year (I made it all a little big last year!)
The girls are soooo cute, I can’t believe how big they are getting.
Miss you guys!
