It’s football season!!! I just love all the spirit that comes out for football, don’t you? Everyone gets so excited. I’ve collected some awesome crochet patterns for you that you can make to celebrate this football season. Many of them can be made to fit your favorite team by changing the colors or adding a little felt logo. Have fun with them!

2) Football Headband by Nadia Fuad
Growing up in the Green Bay area, Wisconsin, USA one cannot help but be a Green Bay Packers fan. They say we bleed green! Well this girl is no exception! With the NFL playoffs right around the corner, I designed this football headband.
3) Slouchy Football Hat by Darleen Hopkins
This pattern is one of my favorites, and can be enjoyed by kids of all ages. If you have the yarn and the time, please make a size large for Halos of Hope (soft yarn is best, cotton or cotton blends).
4) Football Beanie by Nicole Bencker
The Football Beanie can be made in traditional colors of brown and white or make it in your favorite team’s colors. You can add even more color by making the stripes and laces different colors.
5) Official Size Football by Roberta Duley
I made this pattern to be the official size of a football. 11” long with a 24” circumference.
6) Free Football Jar Cozy with Party Mix Recipe by Yarn Twins
Crocheted in chocolate brown, this cozy is ready for the NFL. Crocheted in pink, this is perfect for the girls and to celebrate breast cancer awareness month in October. Add white stripes to each side of this ball and it’s ready for college and high school football fans.
7) Touchdown! by Alicia Kachmar
Bottle cozy that looks like a football, using brown and a tiny bit of white worsted weight yarn.
