Clover’s Macrame Gauge Review and Giveaway
Have you ever heard of a macrame gauge? Well, neither had I until a while ago when Clover introduced me to their macrame gauge. With the resurgence of macrame I wanted to play along, but I was always worried my spacing would be off. I tried it & liked it, so here’s my Clover’s Macrame Gauge Review and Giveaway. The Clover Macrame Gauge, it really will make your macrame projects much easier and fun.

As I mentioned, my biggest worry with macrame is not getting the spacing right and having everything come out all wonky. The macrame gauge helps you keep your spacing to the length you want. You just pop it below your knot that needs a space below it and hold it in place with the clip, then tie your next knot. There are a nice variety of space sizes, so whatever length you need is there for you.
I found the macrame gauge to be easy to use. I just choose the size space I needed and slipped it in place. At first I thought I needed a third hand to make it work, then I remembered the clip. Man, did that little thing make everything work better! Once I clipped the gauge to the yarn where I needed it, I could make my next knot with no problem at all, and I didn’t have to stress about the spacing. It was awesome. It turns out I’m not the only one who had a oops moment forgetting to use the clip at first, my friend Tamara did the same thing. You can read her review of the macrame gauge HERE.
The Clover macrame gauge also comes with a great set of instructions that teaches many different macrame knots and techniques. Plus it comes with the directions on how to make the plant holder shown in this post. It’s my first macrame since I was a teenager, isn’t it neat? I’m quite happy with it. My little jade plant is happy with it, too.
