Yarn:
Red Heart Super Saver Fair Isle 236 yds/215 m/141 g, 100% Acrylic, size 4/medium: Parrott 7255 – 2 skeins
Hook:
US-I/9, 5.5mm
Gauge:
19 sts x 15 rows = 4” [10 cm] in linen st
Other supplies:
yarn needle
Stitches and Abbreviations:
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
sp(s) – space(s)
st(s) – stitch(es)
Pattern:
Row 1: Ch 27, sc in second ch from hook, sc in next ch, (skip 1 ch, ch 1, sc in next ch) to end.
Row 2: Ch 1, sc in fist st, (sc in ch-1 sp, ch 1, skip 1 sc) repeat until 2 sts are left, sc in ch-1 sp, sc in last st.
Repeat Row 2 to desired length.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

I love the look of your scarf! I think there is a error in the pattern though. In row one you are sc, skipping a chain stitch then single crochet across. Row 2 you are single crocheting in the chain 1 place. there are no chain spaces in row 1. Am I missing something?
