I’ve always enjoyed plastic canvas crafts, so when I got this book to review, I ordered some plastic canvas so I could make some samples. When the canvas arrived, Vada asked what it was for and I showed her. She got so excited, she wanted to make it all!

I walked Vada through the basic instructions and she started creating away. Over the next week she was a plastic canvas whirwind! I sat with her and we crafted together a few times as well. It was so nice.

The Magic of Christmas starts right away with 37 awesome plastic canvas Christmas projects. At the end there are basic instructions. Even if you have experience with plastic canvas, read these instructions. They are full of tips I didn’t know that really make a difference.

Over a week, Vada made a Santa kiss ornament, a reindeer ornament, and a cow candy cane holder; I made a reindeer kiss ornament, a dove ornament or magnet (I still have to decide which to make it), and a snowman candy cane holder. They were fun to make and will be awesome additions to our gift-giving goodies and our home holiday decor.
