Spooky house and other cute moments

The other day the girls and I spent $3.00 at the grocery store on a pack of Halloween cut outs. We then put them in the front windows and on the front door.

Now every time we come home Vada says “Hi, Spooky House.” It’s kinda adorable!

Sorry for the reflections, but you get the general idea.

Here’s a good one of the front door.

October 6th was my Aunt Diane’s annual pig roast party at her house in NH. She has lots of land, with a great back yard. Huge fire pit and fun little play gym. Above is Kyla with her new “Prince,” her great uncle, Dominick.

Vada had a blast with her glow~ie necklace that someone was giving out to all the kids.

All these years, and Kyla is still so in love with her cousin Anthony!

See how she looks at him? So cute!

Just a little fire. There were about 200 people there, most of them not my family, but still quite a bit of family there.

The girls loved the gym!

My Aunt Nancy, who is also my Godmother, me, and my cousin Tiffany, who is 11 days younger then me, and I never let her forget it! She says she took those 11 days to grow to a normal height.

After a while, the fire died down a bit.

The morning after. As you see, the women in my family seem to have a technology addiction.

Just a fun snap I took of the girls when they decided it was time for crafts! They are so creative.

blanket-fort-2012Pin

Last weekend the girls wanted a pajama and blanket fort day, so here you have it! It’s so nice having enough room to make such a big fort, and still be able to walk through the living room. The girls just relaxed and watched the Cars movies. It was a good way to get them to relax and get a bit better from the colds they have had.

My attempts at being more productive, and less chaotic are going pretty good. So far this morning, I have scrubbed the upstairs bathroom, done a couple of loads of laundry, gotten quite a bit done on the next pattern I am working on, and my lunch (left over French onion soup) is cooling off a bit, waiting for me to finish this post.

Talk to you again soon!
