This week we will be making rows 1~12, which make up the first 2 color stripes.
smpc ~ small popcorn: 4 dc in indicated st, remove loop from hook, slide hook from front to back under both loops of the first dc made, place the loop back on the hook and pull it through.
pc ~ popcorn: 5 dc in indicated st, remove loop from hook, slide hook from front to back under both loops of the first dc made, place the loop back on the hook and pull it through.
Pattern:
Foundation Chain & Row 1: With Brite Orange, * Ch 16, sl st in 7th ch from hook, ch 9, sl st in 7th ch from hook, repeat from * 7 more times, ch 11, turn, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each of next 7 chs, ** ch 7, skip ch-7 loop, dc in each of next 2 chs, ch 7, skip ch-7 loop, dc in each of next 9 chs, repeat from ** 7 more times.
Rows 2, 4, 6: Turn, ch 3, dc in next st, smpc in next st, dc in next st, pc in next st, dc in next st, smpc in next st, dc in each of next 2 sts, * ch 7, dc in each of next 2 sts, ch 7, dc in each of next 2 sts, smpc in next st, dc in next st, pc in next st, dc in next st, smpc in next st, dc in each of next 2 sts, repeat from * 7 more times.
Rows 3, 5: Turn, ch 3, dc in each of next 8 sts, * ch 7, dc in each of next 2 sts, ch 7, dc in each of next 9 sts, repeat from * 7 more times.
Switch to Sunshine
Rows 7, 9, 11: Turn, ch 3, dc in each of next 8 sts, * ch 7, dc in each of next 2 sts, ch 7, dc in each of next 9 sts, repeat from * 7 more times.
Rows 8, 10, 12: Turn, ch 3, dc in next st, smpc in next st, dc in next st, pc in next st, smpc in next st, dc in each of next 2 sts, * ch 7, dc in each of next 2 sts, ch 7, dc in each of next 2 sts, smpc in next st, dc in next st, pc in next st, smpc in next st, dc in each of next 2 sts, repeat from * 7 more times.
