I spent last weekend at TNNA (The National Needlearts Association) Trade Show. I get to see friends, make connections, and do lots of business.
Early on in the show I stopped at the Louet booth and the always lovely Stacey was so excited to show us that the new Louet yarn labels have the gauge for crochet as well as knitting. How cool is that?! Plus, keep an eye out on here for a review of their hooks, most likely in fall or winter.
One of my favorite bonuses about these trips is that I get to see my other designer/blogger/industry friends. The first night there we went to a Lebanese restaurant. The food was great and I got a mangotini. Dinner out with friends is always nice!
Some evenings we just hang out in the hotel bar. One night Pia taught our bartender how to crochet. Before we left that evening we gave her a project bag with some yarn and a hook so she could keep practicing.
I saw so many new and awesome products at the show. Some of which I will be sharing with you over the course of this fall and winter. I get so involved in making connections and doing business that I often forget to take photos. I did remember to snap one in the Knitters Pride booth. Here are some new pretties from them!
The show was really awesome, and I can’t wait to share some of the wonderful products I discovered with you!
