Asymmetrical Crochet Pattern Round Up from Jessie At HomePin

There is something so appealing to me about asymmetry. When used right, it can create a stunning and unique look. Here is a collection of wonderfully asymmetrical patterns.

Here are the names and links of each pattern, along with a little something that each designer has to say about them.

1) Eloise Baby Sweater ~ designed by Moogly
Baby sweaters are usually made in sweet pastels, but there was something about the jewel tones of this wool that caught my eye. It reminds me of the stories of Eloise, and her mischievous but ever lovely ways.

2) Wrapped In Blue ~ designed by Jessie At Home
This off kilter wrap is simple to make and uses just one skein of yarn! You can make it larger by using more yarn, but it is a great size for a spring mini wrap/scarf with just one skein of Lion Brand Vanna’s Glamour yarn.

3) Lacy Trellis Poncho – Version 1 – Asymmetrical Look ~ designed by Tw-in Stitches
My original Lacy Trellis Poncho was made in an asymmetrical style. It is crocheted in one tall, long strip and folded together. Instead of being a vertical trellis, the pattern laid on its side creating a horizontal pattern. It is very easy to make and you can add your own flair to it by changing up how you crochet the long piece together.

4) Free Crochet Pattern…Ocean Air Scarf ~ Designed by Fiber Flux
The Ocean Air Scarf is a medium to lighter weight scarf that celebrates the soothing sounds and gentle breezes of the sea. Inspired by the Arugula Scarf pattern, this scarf is quick to work up lengthwise and finished with a lovely scallop edging, reminiscent of ocean waves.

5) Flight Hat ~ designed by Jessie At Home
This hat is worked in a spiral, so there are no round joins. Place a split marker at the end of the first round, and move it at the end of each round.

6) Sari Shawl FREE Pattern ~ designed by KT and the Squid
This shawl can be done in any size with any yarn and appropriate size hook. Use a lighter weight yarn for a delicate shawl or use a yarn like I used for a real statement piece.

Don’t forget to check out some of the other great Round Ups that have happened in Blogland over the last week!
