Craft Hope Red Scarves

The Craft Hope red scarves should have found their way to the Orphan Foundation of America by now. It was a lot of fun making them.

This one was made by starting with a flat circle in red. I then squared it out with the white, and finished with red again. It was a bunch of squares put together with the join-as-you-go method. The boarder is just two rows of single crochet. Here is a close up.

And a fun stretchy shot of the whole scarf.

This one was knitted. It starts and ends with a k1p1 rib stitch. The rest of the scarf is 20 rows stocking knit stitch, followed by 5 rows of stocking knit stitch reversed (pearl side in front). The first and last 3 stitches of every row in the main part of the scarf is a seed stitch. I really like the final look.

I also included a card from my simple little homemade card stash with each scarf. The cards are on the left of the pictures, and the envelopes are on the right.

So there you have it. A late reveal of the Craft Hope Scarves. I’ll close out with a picture of the baby blanket. This is how it looked at the end of the weekend. I’ll show you a more recent picture in my next post.

Stay safe – especially those of you who are also in this blizzard!
